A new technology to find ways to prevent lithium-ion battery for non-flammable or cause laptops and mobile phones exploded.

The technology is called Stoba was developed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a national research organizations from Taiwan. Stoba expected soon in the first quarter of 2010.

Alex Pang who led the research of this discovery explains, when the lithium-ion batteries short-circuit discovered, they will quickly heated to 932 degrees Fahrenheit temperature. In these circumstances, the battery potential fire and exploded.
