55% approximately of the users iPod or other music player, hearing loss is threatened because too often listen to music with the volume level very high.
Researchers from the University of Southern Mississippi, has conducted a survey of students at the university to learn the habit of listening to music. A total of 31 students was given an iPod to listen to the song ‘Summer of 69′ of Brian Adams.
The result of 55 percent set the iPod volume above 85 decibels or enter a very hard category. While 26 percent listen to music with hard categories, around 70-85 decibels, and only 19 percent who listen to music just below the level of 70 decibels. Thus was launched FOXNews, Saturday (17/10/2009).
According to a spokesman for the research, so far it has not hearing many complaints from iPod users. But should this become an important record for the owners of iPods and other music players. Read the rest of this entry »
