Although not the first, Chrome the OS that was carried by Google as a milestone in the rise of web-based operating systems. In its official blog, Google’s developers call Chrome the OS with a base of open source operating system for all people who spent almost all his time on the internet.

“With Chrome OS, every application is a web application,” said Sundar Pichai, vice president of product management for Google in a press conference in Mountain View, California, USA, Thursday (19/11). So, Chrome OS will not run local applications such as PC operating systems generally. All documents and data is also stored on Internet servers.
