An electronic shopping sites in the U.S. named Retrevo conducted a survey on the BlackBerry and iPhone users. The results concluded that most Blackberry users are men, while women prefer to use the iPhone. In addition to producing these conclusions, Retrevo also reveals characteristics of the iPhone and Blackberry users. IPhone users are mostly middle-woman lifestyle up with high demand for the iPhone is always connected with them.

Meanwhile, Blackberry users are generally composed of men who believe strongly in maintaining his Blackberry well connected to corporate email system where they work.

Excerpted from IT Business, Friday (6/11/2009), the study surveyed 445 people Retrevo smartphone users and asked them to answer questions about lifestyle, demographic, and practice using the phone.

From the results of the survey, note that three of the Blackberry users are male. But women who use the iPhone more than men who use Blacberry. Retrevo guessed, this is related to gender inequality in the field of business.

“More number of men in various companies in the U.S. use their phones to connect to corporate systems. While iPhones are likely to have advantages in terms of multimedia is a favorite of women as entertainment,” said spokesman Retrevo.

Separate survey of 600 smart phone users this year found that approximately 73 percent of iPhone users use their gadgets for personal needs such as entertainment. In comparison, 59 percent of BlackBerry users, and similar smart phones use their devices for the needs of the job.
