From SAN FRANCSICO – International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) are developing a chip card, which is inspired by the human body’s DNA. Company hardware providers will make the network in the human body or which is known as DNA origami, to create structures on the IBM next-generation microchips. By IBM, making it an microchpis this thinnest chip card and can be sold cheaply.

“This is the first demonstration that uses molecular biology to help the process in the semiconductor industry,” said Spike Narayan IBM researcher, told Reuters on Tuesday (18/8/2009).

“Basically, we want to tell if the DNA could be of inspiration in making electronic goods. Because of the complex network of DNA, there are extraordinary ability,” he added.

However, we must wait to see this smallest chip. Because, Narayan predict the longest 10 years these microchips actually finished refined and can be used by the semiconductor industry.
